Mary E. (Rodriguez) Castillo

Mary E. Castillo, age 79, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Mary was born on December 30, 1931 in Coleman, Texas to Nicasio and Anita Rodriguez. She married Geronimo Castillo in June, l953 in Roscoe, Texas. She was a housekeeper and took care of the elderly for many years before retiring. She attended First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by daughter, Patricia McLarty of Abilene, Texas; sisters, Loyce Meneses, Nestor Torrez, both of Sweetwater, Texas; and Eva Venegas of Blackwell, Texas; five grandchildren, Louis Castillo, Thomas Castillo, Jr., Amanda McLarty, Casandra Castillo and Vivinia Castillo; three great grandchildren, Stephanie Castillo, Biancia Castillo and Nick Castillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicasio and Anita Rodriguez; husband, Geronimo Castillo, sons, Geronimo Castillo, Jr., Thomas Castillo and Jerry R. Castillo, sisters,Jessie Ortega, Eloida Abrigia and Estolia Berrinits and brother, Raul Rodriguez.
Pallbearers will be Pete Venegas, Jr., Sammy Romero, Eddie Torrez, Issac Longoria, Mark Meneses, and Louis Castillo.
