Mary L. Clemmer, age 89, of Hamiln, Texas, (Former resident of Sweetwater, Texas) passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Hamlin Memorial Hospital in Hamlin, Texas
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Spalding officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Mary was born on February 15, 1924 in Cisco, Texas to Calvin M. and Ida (Phillips) Jones. She was a homemaker and member of Lamar Street Baptist Church. She married Thomas Wesley Clemmer on July 18, 1941 in Cisco, Texas.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. Clemmer of Hamlin, Texas; and Doyle Wayne Clemmer and wife Tessie of Sweetwater, Texas; two daughters, Darlene Crays of Keller, Texas; and Nila Cook of Austin, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law - Juanita Hutchinson of Odessa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin M. and Ida Jones; husband, Thomas Wesley Clemmer; four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Wesley McDonell,Gary McDonell,Chris Reed,Ronnie Clemmer,Terry Clemmer and Justin McDonell.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 6 - 7 PM.
