Michael Wayne Ellison

Michael Wayne Ellison, age 59, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 18, 2019 at Roscoe Cemetery with Pastor Lester Cavitt officiating. Burial of cremains will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Michael was born on March 22, 1960 to Welton and Betty (Tollison) Ellison. He was a graduate of Sweetwater High School. He worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a Christian and a life long resident of Sweetwater.

He is survived by two sons, Brandon Ellison of Odessa, Texas, and Dee Ellison of Austin, Texas, parents, Betty and Welton Ellison of Sweetwater, Texas, sister, Melissa Hoyle of Sweetwater, Texas, brother, Glenn Ellison of Sweetwater, Texas , two grandchildren, Levi Ellison, and Abel Ellison and numerous nieces, nephews , cousins and many friends.
