Michael Carter Payne, age 59, of Grapevine, Texas, (Former Resident of Nolan, Texas) passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Grapevine, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Anson, Texas. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Michael was born on October 2, 1954 in Plains, Texas to Walter Carter and Algia (Jones) Payne. He was a member of Nolan Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Algia Payne of Grapevine, Texas; two brothers, Douglas Payne and wife Pauline of Carrollton, Texas; Jimmy D. Payne and wife Sherry of Grapevine, Texas; and one sister, Glenda Marie Payne of Grapevine, Texas; five nieces and nephews, and two grand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Carter Payne on January 22, 2008.
