She met the love of her life, Robert E. Her grandchildren remember and loved her hot dogs and smores at Sweetwater Lake. She loved entertaining guests and family.  She often had guests for Sunday dinner.  Her lovely home was always open to guest preachers and missionaries from foreign lands.

Nadine and her family were faithful loved members of the 4th and Elm Church of Christ in Sweetwater for many years. Nadine was also a member at the Pleasanton Church of Christ for 14 years.

Nadine is preceded in death by both parents, her loving husband, her daughter (Donna Hugus), her son (Robert Summers, Jr), and her five siblings.

She is survived by her Granddaughter and spouse, Stephen and Angela Edwards and son Drake; a Grandson and spouse, Jason and Gina Hugus and sons, Jack, Griffin, and Grant; a nephew, Ray Bean, who she raised as her own son, and wife, Nell and son David and Stephanie Bean and children, Grace and Branson; son, Jonathan and Heather Bean and children, Jansen, Heston, Trenton, Adalyn, Landon, Evelyn and Kathryn; daughter and spouse Julie and Charlie Johanson and children, Nathan and Karis; daughter and spouse Lauren and Jeff Keese and children, Deacon, Delaney and Daisy.  She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Sherman and numerous nieces and nephews.
