Naomi Pearl Huffman Swofford, age 77, of Midland, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Terrace West Nursing Center & Rehab in Midland, Texas.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M., Monday, August 1, 2011 at Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas with Rev. Dick Griffith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home of Sweetwater, Texas.
Naomi was born on January 31, 1934 in O'Donnell, Texas to Walter and Naoma Armstrong. She married Calvin Huffman in Post, Texas. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Tx and a homemaker.
She is survived by son, Jerry Huffman and wife Kathy of San Angelo, TX; two daughters, Carolyn Bigelow and husband Randy of South Carolina, and Willie English of Midland, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Arthur Wayne Armstrong of Sweetwater, Texas and sister, Ann Scofield and husband Tom of Colorado.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who provided care for Naomi.
