N. Dale Finch, age 79, Longtime resident of Nolan, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at The Reserve at North Dallas in Dallas, Texas.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Lamar Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Nolan Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
N. Dale Finch was born on December 16, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Norman Luther and Ruth Olivia (Lucas) Finch. He married Mary Karen Forbes on January 14, 1961. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Tech University and his Master's Degree from Michigan State University. He worked as a dairy industry executive for many years before retiring. He was a Southern Baptist and a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church in Sweetwater, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Karen Forbes Finch, three children, Lisa Dawn Finch Trevino and husband Aaron Trevino, Norman Dale Finch, Jr. and wife Kimberly Kay Kruse Finch, and Kara Sue Finch Bruskas and husband David Thomas Bruskas, eleven grandchildren, Mallory Lane Trevino, Zachary Aaron Trevino and wife Kelly McKinnon Trevino, Blake Ryan Trevino, Reagan Kendall Trevino, Abigail Ruth Finch, Norman Lucas Finch, Mary-Claire Lee Finch, Lisa Kathleen Bruskas Gay and husband Tobin James Gay, Lauren Elizabeth Bruskas Coulombe and husband Daniel Paul Coulombe, Jennifer Marie Bruskas Cook and husband Braden Jamison Cook and Jillian Grace Bruskas, eight great grandchildren, Isabell Jett Trevino, Clementine Roam Trevino, David James Gay, Landry Kate Gay, Logan Joy Gay, Theo Daniel Coulombe, Thomas Paul Coulombe, and Benjamin Jamison Cook, brother Arnold Finch, and sister Mary Jane Wickersham and husband David Wickersham, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Luther and Ruth Olivia (Lucas) Finch, brothers, James Beal Finch and Larry Neal Finch, and grandson David Michael Bruskas.
Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Lamar Street Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lamar Street Baptist Church, 513 Lamar, Sweetwater, Texas 79556.
