Nicholas James Williams, age 36, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Emmanuel Fellowship Church with Rev. Eric von Atzigen and Rev. John Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 PM.

Nicholas was born on November 20, 1980 in Sweetwater, Texas to Randy Kemp and Linda Williams. He lived most of his life in Sweetwater, Texas. He married Crystal McDorman on September 28, 2013. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Washington. He worked for Georgia Pacific as a lab technician.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Williams of Sweetwater, Texas, mother, Linda Williams of Sweetwater, Texas, father, Randy Kemp and step-mother Brenda Cardwell Kemp of Abilene, Texas,  two daughters, Mea and Mya McDorman Williams of Sweetwater, Texas, two step-sons, Peyton Atkins and Rian Hill, both of Sweetwater, Texas, sister, Nicole Morrison of Sweetwater, Texas, two nephews, Nick Williams and Aaron Morrison of Sweetwater, Texas, grandparents, Minnie Ola Williams, Wilford Petty and wife Dorothy, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hill Williams, step-father, Alfonso Johnson, brother, Allen Johnson, grandmother, Francis Petty and grandmother, Ola Mae Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hamilton, Jon Atkins, Ron Atkins, Nick Boil, Willie Amos, and Aric McGowan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Thompson, Keke Wallace, Jonathan Williams, and Mooney Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 10900-B Stonelake Blvd., Suite 320, Austin, Texas 78759.
