Pauline Hamilton Davis, Age 97, of Arlington, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 in an Arlington hospital.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.
Pauline was born July 12, 1914 in Eskota, Texas to Carl and Cordeliah (Hale) Hamilton. She was raised in Longworth, Texas. She was a homemaker. She was also a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ. She was a longtime resident of both Sweetwater and Arlington. Her main source of happiness was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Ronald Davis and wife Jan of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Anita Poley of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren, Brian Davis, Lance Davis, Amanda West, and Tiffany Mosley; four great grandchildren; nephew, Frank Davis and wife Marilyn of Sweetwater, Texas; niece, Patsy Hunt of Wichita Falls, Texas; great niece, Jill Couch of Wichita Falls, Texas; and great nephews, John Davis and wife Cindy of Sweetwater, Tx and Steve Davis and wife Kathy of Southlake, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Franklin Davis on June 20, l987.
