Paulo M. Lopez, age 79, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Tuesday,

November 9, 2010 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital .

A rosary will be held 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Cate-

Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel recited by Maria Acuna.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, November

12, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev.

Michael Rodriguez officiating.

Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery . Services are under the direction

of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Paulo was born Feb. 13, l93l in Rocksprings, Texas . He married Ysabel Gomez

on March 4, 1948 in Sweetwater , Texas . He was a member of Immaculate Heart

of Mary Catholic Church. He worked for U.S. G. for forty years as a production

operator before retiring.

Survivors include one daughter – Nellie Gonzales and husband Salvador of

Sweetwater, Texas; three sons – Juan Lopez of Sweetwater, TX, Jimmy Lopez

And wife Mary of Lubbock, TX, and Paul Lopez and wife Susie from

Stephenville, Texas; one brother – Manuel Lopez and wife Anita, Sisters – Inez

Gongora of Abilene, TX, Ofema Gauna and husband Luis, Frances Gutierrez

and Maria Alvera; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and

great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Juan and Juliaeo Lopez, wife, Ysabel

Lopez, one brother – Pete Lopez, sister – Margaret Gomez and a friend – Connie

Garcia.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Gonzales, Justin Gonzales, James Gonzales, James

Lopez, Tristan Lopez, and Pete Joe Gomez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Cornelio Mendez, Artie Gonzales, Jacob Hernandez,

Matthew Gonzales,Bear Gonzales, Noah Gonzales, Calixto Mendez, Cory Mendez,

Bubba Gonzales, Bo Gonzales, and Nico Gonzales.
