Peggy Ann (Hall) Sharrock

Peggy Ann Sharrock, age 76, of Sweetwater, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Ward Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Palava Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
Peggy was born on January 4, 1937 in Temple, Texas to Young and Mary Hulda (Kokernot) Hall. She married Charles T. Sharrock on June 18, 1954 in Sweetwater, Texas. She worked for over twenty one years with Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was the first woman telephone repeater- man in the Southwest Region. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Leigh Ann Weatherred and husband Stan of Levelland, Texas; two sons, Fred Sharrock and wife Karen of Sweetwater, Texas, and David Sharrock of Midland, Texas, four grandchildren, Britt Allen Sharrock, Allison Anne Sharrock, Kendall Ann Weatherred, and Caleb Weatherred, sister-in-law, Deana McWilliams of Sweetwater, Texas and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Young and Mary Hall, husband Charles T. Sharrock, and one sister, Eleanor Harris.
