Rachel Mae (Bailey) Roley

Rachel Mae Roley, age 86, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 3, 2018 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Rev. Keith Hills officiating. Burial will follow. . Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 2, 20l8 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Rachel was born on June 17, 1932 in Quanah, Texas to Robert and Mandy Jane (Morris) Bailey. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Eddie Roley on June 24, 1950 in Sweetwater, Texas. She had been a resident of Sweetwater, Texas since 2000, moving from Farmington, New Mexico.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Roley of Sweetwater, Texas; children, Donna Mae Tennant , Bobby Roley and Gary Roley, all of Sweetwater, Texas, Terry Choate and husband Richard of Russellsville, Arkansas, and Leanna Dreher of Point MacKenzie, Alaska; thirteen grandchildren, two brothers, Archie Bailey of Roby, Texas and Doris Bailey of Snyder, Texas, sister, Marie Jones and husband Gary of Lubbock, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters.
