Ralph E. (Gene) Stith

Ralph E. (Gene) Stith, age 87, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Garden of Memories with Rev. Keith Clower officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Gene was born on June 29, 1924 in Liberal, Kansas to James L. and Marjorie (Butcher) Stith. He married Louise Kennedy on June 22, 1945 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a Baptist. He worked for Domatar for many years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Stith of Sweetwater, TX; three sons, Paul Stith, Raymond Stith and Raydale Stith, all of Sweetwater, one daughter, Margie Bannister and husband Ronnie of Fort Worth, Texas, two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, and one infant son.
