Raquel Quirino

Raquel Quirino, age 80, of Stamford, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Anson General Hospital in Anson, Texas.

A prayer service and rosary will be held at l:30 P.M., Saturday at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel recited by Deacon David Mendez .

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon David Mendez officiating.  Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Raquel was born on September 5, 1942 in Sweetwater, Texas, to Librado, Sr. and Sara (Gomez) Quirino.  She was a Catholic.

She is survived by two sisters, Sara Quirino of Amarillo, Texas, and Ernestina Q. Cox and husband Richard of Tolar, Texas, two brothers, Librado (Lee) Quirino, Jr. and wife Pat of Mansfield, Texas, and David Quirino and wife Petra of Amarillo, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Librado, Sr. and Sara Quirino, five sisters, Rosa V. Quirino, Carmen Q. Cardoza, Lucia Quirino, Rosa Q. Alvarado, and Concepcion (Connie) Palacios, and two brothers, Manuel Quirino, and Refugio C. Quirino.
