Refugia Luevano, (Former Resident of Fort Lupton, Colorado, age 96, of Sweetwater, Texas former resident of Fort Lupton,Colorado, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Nolan Nursing and Rehab.

A rosary will be held 7;00 P.M., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Saint William Catholic Church in Fort Lupton, Colorado.

Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 28, 2017 at Saint William Catholic Church in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home of Sweetwater, Texas and Erlinger Funeral Home of  Fort Lupton,Colorado

Refugia was born on June 18, 1921 in Mexico to Simon and Georgia (Carrillo) Espino. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Luevano and wife Patricia of Sweetwater, Texas, and Juan Luevano, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, grandchildren, Robert Reyes, Danny Luevano, Jimmy Luevano, Simon Luevano, Augustine Luevano, Nancy Luevano, Trina Alvarez, Neil Carpenter, Brandi Carpenter, Britney Murphy, Juan Luevano, Jr., Anneliese V. Parker, Fatima V. Cearley, Juan V. Luevano and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Angelica C. Luevano, two sisters and one brother.
