Richard Danny Griffith

Richard Danny Griffith, age 63, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September l3, 2020 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Clifton Griffith officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Richard was born on May 27, 1957 in Seagraves, Texas to Bobby Griffith, Sr. and Shirley (Boiles) Griffith.  He worked for Mahaffey's Construction.  He married Lisa Rawlings on October 3, 2011 in Snyder, Texas.  He was a Baptist and a lifelong resident of Sweetwater, Texas.                              .

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Griffith of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Billy Guelker and wife Misty of Roscoe, Texas, daughter,   Shanda Holloway and husband Billy of Weatherford, Texas ,  step-daughter, Danielle Posten of Sweetwater Texas, two step-sons, Cliff Forbes, and Toby Forbes, both of Sweetwater, Texas, numerous grandchildren and  two brothers, Bobby Griffith and wife Gloria of  Roby, Texas, and Clifton Griffith and wife Susan of Snyder, Texas.
