Shane Gholson, age 39, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away Tuesday,

February 1, 2011 , in San Angelo , Texas .

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at

Normandy Avenue Church of Christ with Mike Ensminger officiating.

Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery .

Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Shane Gholson was born on June 16, 1971 in Hamlin, Texas . He was a

Sweetwater High School graduate and also he received his Associates Degree

in Computer Technology at TSTC. He worked as crew supervisor for West

Texas Centers for M.H.M.R. in the vocational department and he also worked

for Walmart for many years. He was a member of Normandy Avenue Church of Christ.

He is survived by his daughter – Ashley Morgan Gholson of Sweetwater , Texas ;

son – Timothy Ian Gholson of Phoenix , Arizona , Father – Bobby Gholson of

Stamford, Texas, Mother – Marie Suggs and husband Don of Sweetwater, Texas ;

Brothers – Brad Gholson of San Angelo , Texas and Coty Gholson and wife

Becky of Sweetwater , Texas ; step-sister – Melissa Suggs of Williston , North Dakota ;

Nieces and nephews – Justin Gholson, Kaitlyn Gholson, Dellaney Gholson, Drew

Gholson, and Kaleb Gholson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Normandy Avenue Church of Christ,

Sweetwater , Texas or American Diabetes Association,

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 4, 2011 from

6:00-8:00 P.M.
