Ruben Sarabia

Ruben Sarabia, age 69, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body will be cremated.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Ruben was born on May 27, 1954 in Seguin, Texas to Antonio, Sr. and Ruth (Guajardo) Sarabia.  He worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring.  He was a Christian.   He married Elsa Torres on October 13, 2013 in Sweetwater, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Elsa Gomez Sarabia of Sweetwater, Texas, son, Jason Sarabia, daughter, Jessica Macia, six grandchildren, brothers, Jimmy Sarabia, Alex Sarabia, Frank Sarabia, sisters, Yolanda Loya, and Esther Valdez, and seven stepchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio, Sr. and Ruth Sarabia, and brother, Tony Sarabia.
