Sandra Beth (Woodson) Underhill, age 67, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Sweetwater Healthcare Center.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 13, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frankie Santiago officiating. Burial will follow at Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Sandra was born on September 16, 1943 in Sweetwater, Texas to Clifford and Bertha Knight Woodson. She married Dwayne Lee Underhill on Nov. 9, 1968 at Big Spring, Texas. She was a graduate of Newman High School. She worked for the City of Rotan for thirty years before retiring. She was also a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Valdez and husband Joe of Sweetwater, Texas; two grandchildren, Kaylee and Keygan Valdez; brother, C.E. Woodson and wife Vonna of Era, Texas; niece, Debbie Minor and husband Eddie of Hughes Springs, Texas; and nephew, Terry Meeks and wife Patti of Big Spring, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Bertha Woodson; husband, Dwayne Lee Underhill; sister, Barbara Darrow; and grandson, Kasen Ryan Valdez.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Valdez, David Allen, Rodney Denton, Loyd Green, Dwayne Conner and Chris Daughtery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
