Thelma Pauline Arnold, age 80, of Lubbock, Texas (Former Resident of Sweetwater, Texas),
passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at Lakeside Nursing & Rehab in Lubbock, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home with Chaplain Allen McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Thelma was born on May 26, 1930 in Hamilton County, Texas to William Boyd and Phyllis Miles. She was a homemaker and a dedicated provider for the children and elderly.
She married Andrew S. Arnold on October 30, 1953 in Colorado.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy McBroom and husband Thomas of Snyder, Texas, Sherry Weaver and husband David of Lubbock, Texas, and Andrea Clardy of El Paso, Texas, three sons - Andrew B. Arnold of Sweetwater, Texas, Byron Arnold of California, and Neal Arnold and wife T.J. of Alaska, seventeen grandchildren, including, Michael Pace, Lori McElroy, Ted Umphress, Meagan Weaver, Travis Weaver, Wesley Arnold, Jordan Arnold, Lorrin Arnold, Andrew Arnold, Matthew Arnold, Moriah Arnold and Matthew McBroom, twelve great grandchildren, two brothers, Zan Miles and wife Pat of Victoria, Texas and Gerald and wife Tina of Victoria, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Boyd Miles and Phyllis Miles Baker, husband Andrew S. Arnold and grandson, Karl Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pace, Ted Umphress, Travis Weaver, Wesley Arnold, David McElroy, and Matthew McBroom.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
