Vonnie V. (Sutterfield) Bentle

Vonnie V. Bentle, age 76, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Von Atzigen officiating. A private graveside will follow later. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Vonnie Vee Sutterfield was born November 21, 1934 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to John and Nora Sutterfield. She married Bobby M. Bentle in Sweetwater, Texas in 1952. She was a self-employed nursery owner for many years before retiring. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by four daughters, Paula Huckabee and husband Bill; Kathy Rosson and husband Tommy; Robin Bentle; all of Sweetwater, Texas; and Tammy Dickson and husband Heath of Roby, Texas; two sons, Bobby Bentle and wife Mildred of Spring, Texas; and Joe Bentle and wife Jana of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Dawn Huckabee, T.J. Rosson, Jarod Rosson, Jordan Bentle, Jace Bentle, Christopher Rieger and wife Meagan, Jon Murphy; Holten Dickson; Lori and husband Noe Falcon; and Jeremy Diaz; great grandchildren, Brenden Huckabee; Blake Ballenger; Tyler, Toby, and Truitt Falcon; and Sara Diaz; two sisters, Billie Jean Brumit; and Genetta Lamb; and one brother, Vern Sutterfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nora Sutterfield; her husband, Bobby M. Bentle; two grandchildren, Brittany Rieger and Hayden Dickson; and two sisters, Vivian Sutterfield and Margie Lytle.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
