William (Bill) Glendon Grubb

William (Bill) Glendon Grubb, age 67, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at his residence.

Per his wishes, his body was cremated.  A military graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas with Rev. Keith Hills officiating and the U.S. Naval Honor Guard.  Burial of cremains will follow after the service.   Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Bill was born on February 23, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Glendon and Donna (Wood) Grubb.  He married Kymberlie Hankins on May 12, 2017 in Sweetwater, Texas.  He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran serving for twenty two years.  He had been a resident of Sweetwater, Texas for over seven years moving from Temple, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Kymberlie Grubb of Sweetwater, Texas, son, James Grubb, daughter, Dinah Grubb, and son-in-law, Jason Evans all of Florida, six grandsons, one granddaughter, and his fur babies, Mongo and Tuffy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glendon and Donna Grubb, grandparents, Zander and Idella, and sister, Sandy Davis.
