Willie Joe Brazelton, Jr.

Willie Joe Brazelton, Jr., age 49, of Trent, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Trent United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Massey officiating, assisted by Pastor Brett Banks. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.

Willie was born on April 29, 1969 in Sweetwater, Texas to Willie Joe, Sr. and Betty Lois (Durham) Brazelton. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Werner Diesel for many years. He was a lifetime resident of Trent, Texas.

He is survived by three sons, Stormy Gutierrez, Trent Brazelton, Stephen Brazelton and wife Shayla, all of Trent, Texas and their mother, Kelly Brazelton of Abilene, Texas; granddaughter, Parker Jade Brazelton; two brothers, Bobby Brazelton and wife Sue, Billy Brazelton and wife Leslie; sister, Teresa Bryan and husband Rocky, all of Trent, Texas; Friend , Diana Weaver; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joe, Sr. and Betty Brazelton.

Pallbearers will be Billy Williams, Wilson Stephens, George Werner, Freddie Patterson, Cirilo Alaniz and William Hewitt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Schroeter, Bradley Brazelton, Patrick Bryan, and Joe Tanner Bryan.
