Dorothy Jean Whittington

Dorothy Jean Whittington, age 86 of Loraine, Texas (Former resident of Sweetwater, Texas), passed away on March 10, 2023 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

Per her wishes, her body will be cremated.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.

Dorothy was born on February 26, 1937 in Marlin, Texas to Conley Frazier and Mary Earline (Pate) Whittington.  She worked for Ludlum Measurements for over forty years before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter, Chreyl Clements and husband Bruce Mc Kinney of Loraine, Texas, daughter-in-law, Sharolett Clements of Sweetwater, Texas, grandchildren, Amanda, Melanie, Trisha, Rachel, Angela, Kit, Brandy, Tonya, Chris and Dana, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and various other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Carey Gene Clements, sister, Inez Bederaka, and brother, Roy Sherman Whittington.
